There are problems with burning on 1x- 4x DVD'S
I have had no succes with finding any firmware/Drivers to overcome this problem.

My Vaio PCV-RX502E
Is also not on the support list of drivers and hardware anymore.

Could anyone give me a link or upgrade for my DVD-R/RW +r/RW

So i can also burn 4X DVD with my 2.4.

I know the speed will be the same, but the way of burning is different.

What software are you using and whats the error message?

Hi,

Thank you for you reply,
i will make my problem clear, Its not a software program issue,
Seeing the old 2,4 DVD-/+r/RW work.

For the older DVD burners there is a Firmware upgrade to also burn DVD's that work with the new 4x Technology.

But for my DVD burner i can't find the firmware update, that should fix this problem.

i am using the last firmware version from the Vaio-link site,
But it is one of 2003
