    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hm. I couldn't find anything in their knowledge base about this, it sounds like a bug. Just reloading everything from the hard disk doesn't sound like a very fair fix, I'd try reporting it to e-Support @ &lt;A href="http://www.vaio-link.com" target="_blank"&gt;www.vaio-link.com&lt;/A&gt;, if nothing else they will at least be aware theres a problem with their updates. They will hopefully be able to give you a proper fix as well though my hopes aren't terribly high.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

There is a key you press when the machine is boothing to allow you to do this when your machine isn't recognised as a Vaio. Can't remember what the key is, but I got it from the forum somewhere, I think.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
