Help !!! I need some drivers for my PCV-RX1

Hi.

When I tried to update my computer, I erased some important files.

I erased the drivers of my infra-red port.

Nowaday I can't use any infra-red port

My question is:

Is there any body who can send me a copy of this driver?

J'ai effacé les pilotes de mon port infra-rouge sur mon ordinateur. A présent je ne peux plus utiliser cette fonction.

Quelqu'un peut il m'envoyer une copy de ce pilote?

Yes I've tried to download the original drivers from Vaio Link, but I didn't find them

The drivers and Utilities are not available for download from Vaio -link for this model..

You should find the drivers on the Recovery discs that were supplied with your Vaio..?

If you want a quick fix, have you tried doing a system restore (not recovery) to a point before you removed the important files..?

I had a look , but there is nothing

That's what I supposed. They don't pay attention to their old products

The problem is that I removed this file a long time ago. I made mistakes a lot...

I will take my 3 CD for restore and hope to find the drivers.

Even if I couldn't find them, I will restore my computer and hope to succeed

Did you find the drivers on the Recovery discs that were supplied with your Vaio..?

Does the infrared port appear in device manager?

I remember I had a problem with my infra-red port. I removed the driver instead of remove only the infra-red aparel.

Now I can't find anything on the manager of peripherals except if I install a new peripheral (infra-red) but it still doesn't work

I remember also, I removed the TCP IP , I tried to update the Bios... What a shame

I remember I deleted the infra-red port that's why I can't find it.

I finally did it

When I wanted to restore my hard drive with the 3 CD, I wanted to change the partition...

And unfotunatelly It Fails

I had to erase it because the hard drive doesn't work

Do you have any solution to save the files from this hard drive?

I didn't put anything yet on it. Maybe I could find a software to rescue the files erased.

I miss Sony's softwares. It was so good :smileyd_oh:

Please help me to find a solution
