Can someone help me please!
I went travelling for 5 months and left my Vaio VGN TX2HP laptop in the care of my brother.
He used it a fair bit untill the battrey ran out about 4 months ago, he then stopped using it and didnt bother charging it for me (even tho I had left all the AC equipment).
Anyway, now I have returned home and the battery will not charge. I have left it charging for 16 hours but still the power meter reads 0%.
Has anyone any ideas that will help solve this problem, am I being really stupid, or is this battery now useless? Help me please.
ED

Just some notes:
I am in the UK
I have plugged it in whilst the computer is switched on and also whislt it is off
The orange battery light is flashing (indicating charging) when the computer is on and when it is off
The icon on the task bar, and the power management function both say it is charging, but still reads 0%
I have tried using it with no AC power and nothing happens(indicating the battery really is flat)
thank you.
