The screen went blank and the fan seemed to go into overdrive. I rang Sony and paid £3 per minute to be told they would need to have a look at it.<BR />I purchased the desktop on 11.2.2009 so its just over a year old and surprise, surprise out of warrenty. I paid £800 which is an expensive desktop in my opion but had already owned several Vaios and I was impressed with there performance.<BR />Sony are now saying its the mother board and the processor and the cost of repair is more than the purchase price.<BR />I am absolutely livid.
