Any video imported from a DV camera using firewire is very dark on my pc. I am importing the video as .avi files.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>I have tried different cameras, tapes, cables, import software. Everything results in dark video on my laptop.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>But as soon as I use any of that equipment on another laptop it's fine.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>So the issue must be with my laptop and the firewire. I don't have an express card slot so I have to try and fix it.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>I can't find anything on google. I bought the laptop to edit video and now it's useless.
