topic HP Bluetooth Print Adapter in PCs & Accessories

I have an A217S Vaio notebook running XP home and integrated bluetooth. In addition I have a HP 7110 officejet printer connected to the HP Bluetooth 1300 printer server. However I just can't connect the vaio to the BT1300 which surprises me given that Sony champion Bluetooth. It can't find it as a bluetooth printer even using the configuration utility. I have tried sending a file directly via bluetooth but the format gets screwed up. Finally I tried setting up the bluetooth connection via a normal COM port on a bluetooth format which predictably didn't work. The only service that the printer will offer is a serial link. This I can set up but when I send a document then the printer just simply doesn't register it. I would be grateful of any assistance before I just ditch the whole set up and opt for wireless G.
