New to this forum. Originally posted in 'Third Party Software' and cannot work out how to move it.<BR /><BR />Hi,<BR /><BR />I purchased a VGN-A215M Laptop approx a month ago and have been very impressed with it's capabilities.<BR /><BR />I last used the CD/DVD Drive 3 days ago for both a data CD and DVD with no problems encountered.<BR /><BR />I tried using it tonight and it fails. There is a rythmic 'knocking' noise and the CD's get very hot within the drive.<BR /><BR />It has on a few occasions displayed the contents of the CD but fails to open the files.
