I bought this vgn-a215m model last week with no cd's, the recovery stuff is in the notebook itself. I mean WAS..untill I did a format and made seperate partitions. So the recovery stuff is gone. Now my question is..I have the recovery cd's for the "VGN-A-100" series..those are 2 cd's. Can I use those to put my notebook in original state? Ofcourse I know the drivers wont work but thats no problem the Drivers a already have.
So?

I got my own windows cd's and drivers I have..it works fine like this..is it really a MUST to have the cd's?
