GRV616G Graphic Card Problem ?

Hi,

since some days I have problems with my laptop. When open pictures the fan starts with full power and after some time the computer stucked up. switching off only possible by pulling the battery. After switching on again, working normal until the next picture. Is it possible to repair or change the graphic card and what will be the costs apprx.

Pictures which I made with my digital camera
Software: Irfanview and Nero Photo Snap Viewer

same happens with windows explorer or my computer. Also if I choose screensaver slideshow (windows) with my pictures.

If the fans are going full blast ( ) then I would think there is an overheating problem when there is load on the CPU. Try cleaning the dust out of the laptop and see if this helps.
