Automatic Re-Boot, Is it possible ? (my laptop = Vaio PCG-V505)

Hi all,

I recently obtained a program called "Auto Power-on & Shut-down". I presumed that it would do all of the work for me, but when I inserted a time to re-boot , the program told me this;

"your mainboard did not support this mode."

It then gave me instructions on how to set it up for my self, by going into the main CPU setup, when my PC restarts.

To do that I had to press 'F2', just after the SONY logo had dissapeared.

I then looked upon some options, NONE of which where the menu I needed. I needed a menu called "Power Management Setup".

As a result of me not being able to go into the correct menu, I cannot setup an automatic re-boot for Monday - Friday.

Does anyone know if there is any other way to do this, or is there somthing I have missed.

Any suggestions, are greatlly appreciated,

I don't think it's possible to do this with this notebook.

I know a lot of things are not supported by VAIOS

They could do with wake on LAN too (WOL)
