Dipslay won't come back on on FX-405

After about 20mins my display goes black. It won't come back on no matter which key I press. I have to hit Fn-Esc to switch it off and switch it on again.
Anyone had a similar problem and can anyone help ?

Welcome to the Forum.

Does it go black whilst you are in the middle of something or is the PC just going into hibernation mode following a spell of inactivity?

I seem to remember someone else with this problem but they fixed it by getting a patch from Vaio-link.

Make sure you have the the latest updates for your machine from Vaio-Link.

Its when it goes into hibernation. Except it doesn't. Just the screen goes blank. But pressing keys will still cause an effect to the computer so the hard drive has not powered down, nor the processor.

No, never have connected it to an external monitor.
