And of course if you want to use the mic you need a phono to mic jack connector, but with a little fiddle it works fine. You will get amazing cam and sound quality in relation to any webcam. The big bonus is that you can stream your home movies over the messenger webcam too. Might be able to do it via firewire, I'm not sure but with your standard kit I couldn't manage it.<BR /><BR />The advantage of quality over a webcam will be quite minimal unless you have a very good upload speed and the person you are sending to has a very good download speed.
