topic Imaging Edge Desktop suite in Alpha & NEX interchangeable lens cameras

Hello folks.

I use the Sony Imaging Edge Desktop suite to view and process my A9 and A7R4 RAW files to tif, and it does a good job.

I would like a little more functionality though, as below:

1. The ability to batch edit a selection of ARW files, to change exposure, colour balance, shadows, highlights, etc. At the moment it can only be done individually [i think].

2. The ability to send a series of ARW files to tif as a separate thread or batch process, but then be able to continue to work on editing a few more concurrently.

3. After deleting a selection of unwanted arw's, to be then taken back to the last file I was looking at in Viewer.

Basically make it a more like Canon's Digital Photo Professional v4, which I have used for years and which is a very good mature piece of software.

Many thanks.

richard.

Hi Richard,

Welcome to the community. You could always give Sony your feedback on their social pages.

Thanks,
