topic Connecting an Intervalometer to an A7m3 in Alpha & NEX interchangeable lens cameras

Hi - I have tried connecting two different Intervalometers to my A7M3, without any luck. If the camera is set to review a picture and I press the remote button, the camera switches out of review mode but th shutter does not operate. Have I missed something in the menu system or can anyone suggest anything else I can try?

Many thanks

Boomshadow
