SLT58 connection questions

Hi all.

I'm new to the community and wanted to know if is possible to connect my SLT-A58 to my android phone or tablet using an OTG adapter for the phone/tablet and a USB cable to the camera. This is for file transfer on the go and having a larger screen to view the images.

I know DSLR's from the likes of cannon and Nikon can be connected this way and with the right app they can be controlled by the phone/tablet.

Have you tried using PlayMemories Home is a software suite that enables you to import photos and videos to a computer, and then browse and manage them. You can see more details here.
