Love Mei Case Proximity Sensor Issue

Hi I have just bought the sony Xperia 1 as I have always had sony phones, this one was quite expensive for me so bought the most protective case I could find, only issue is there is no hole in the glass where the proximity sensor is, does anyone know of a way to adjust the sensor turn it off or any fix that means I can keep this case with out resorting to trying to drill throught the glass.

The Case is the love mei one with gorrilla glass that seems to be causing the issue as it thinks the sensor is always on.

Other alternatives has anyone replaced the glass with one that has the hole in the right place?

Hi @GodDamPhone

First try in Safe mode.

Who knows there is an app causing problems.

Then goto the Support app on your phone and test the proximity sensor.

(besides there is a lot of usefull information in the Support app)

Last option is to buy another cover from very cheap to the best available .
