Virgin Media remote not connecting

We have just bought a Sony Bravia KD50x75wl. Everything is working fine apart from one small thing...

Our Virgin Media remote seems to be connecting with the TV in that its TV power button and the volume controls work. However the 'OK' button doesn't work, so when we turn the TV on (using the Virgin remote) and the main menu comes up on the screen we can't direct it to go to the main TV function using the Virgin remote - we have to use the Sony remote instead.

It seems strange that some of the Virgin remote buttons work while others don't. Is there a fix for this?

welcome to the Sony User Community..

As far as I am aware using the Virgin remote only allows you to turn your Sony TV on and off, increase or decrease the volume and mute the TV's volume..
