Music Center for PC not detecting connected Xperia XZ

Hello people,

Since Sony discontinued Media Go, I was forced to use the Music Center.

However, the "upgraded" softward does not detect my Xperia XZ, event when it is connected via USB. I've tried as per suggestion here, and no, it does NOT WORK. When I try to use the device manager to install the driver, it doesn't show the MSC option.

I have a Xperia XZ model F8331 (Android version 8.0.0) connected. I'm running the Music Center (version 2.0.2) on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit.

Can anyone help?
