Has anyone else noticed that the top speaker above the Sony logo is weaker then the bottom speaker?

I did a db test between the top and bottom speaker and the top speaker is about 5db lower in volume then the bottom speaker. I had my db meter the exact distance from both speakers and my XZ1 on full volume and played a quality mixed song. You can also hear the difference between the speaker volume if you play a song and put your finger on the right/left speaker so it gets covered.

I noticed the same issue on the first couple days after I got the headset. However it seemed like it calibrated itself after that so the issue is gone now.

I still have this issue and i can´t understand why Sony can´t re-calibrate and make the speakers even so we get balanced stereo sound instead of the uneven sound we have now!

Hi all,

This was driving me mad. So here's what I found.

With bare music app in safe mode, balance is normal. Download a well mixed song that has good stereo separation.

Reboot in normal mode and it's unbalanced.

So what I did was to go to Sony's default music player and turn OFF all equalization including S-force. My right speaker has returned to normal. It still resonates at certain frequencies but it's the way it's mounted and the cavity the speaker sits in.

Hope it helps some one.
