Congratulations Sony, you have lost a customer - Warning to current/future customers

I have been dealing with Sony support since May, and finally, my broken phone was returned today... unrepaired. At least 10 phone calls to them, multiple emails, contact through the internet chat, and this is the result.

Reason you ask?

"Drop/Crush Damage - identifiable from external inspection"

Check out what Sony views as "drop/crush damage" and won't honor the warranty:

Only visible damage you ask? Some barely noticable scratches on the back of the phone from a metallic case that didn't fit quite right. Nothing on the corners, nothing that looks like drop damage.

Sorry folks, if you accidently scratch your phone, Sony won't honor a warranty. You better not even take it out of the box.

I will never, ever buy, or even look at a Sony product. If you folks are smart, you won't either. Screw you Sony.

I see it's also bent at the bottom end of SIM card flap.

Phone looks bent to me. Did you sit on it or something? That being said, when I sent my phone in for repair over dead pixels, they took it in no question asked even though it had a few minor scratches similar to yours, if not even worse. When I got my phone back, they replaced the scratched buttons and the frame with a new one.
