Sony C4 dual can't establish VPN PPTP using mobile connection

Hi,

I recently upgraded from Samsung Google Nexus device to a sony c4 dual using build 27.1.B.1.93 running Android v5.0

I have my own VPN server using a Raspberry Pi device at home.

On that phone, establishing a VPN tunnel using any WiFi network works perfectly but when I use mobile network, VPN tunnel can't complete. Looking at raspberry log file, I can see the following error message: Reaping child PPP.

Strange thing is that VPN tunnel works on WiFi network (at home, on the road, at work...) but does not work using carrier network.

Has anybody else experience same behavior ?
