help please XPERIA Z3 no power button

ehllo!!! help please!!! my sony xperia z3 with my wet fingers was ok and no condensation and thing was wrong for like 3 hours!!!!! after den my z3 started vibrating and screen turn on so i checked it and then it stopeed vibration and i try to lock it and no LOCK!!!!!! My power button does not wrok!!! no screen on / off i pressed volume button and it shows like i would be holding the power button cuz it shows the screen power off restart take a screen shot. i pressed power button + volume up and this worked my device when off but automatically on!!!!!!! i also after press yellow button next to sim and it shut down but automatically on!!!!! NO CONDENSATION!!!!

all works but power button and some stupid vibration not like when typing that so big but some gentle . what to do!!!!! I NEED POWER BUTTON!!! Is there screen on off buttons to press?????>?? what can i do !!!! help all function work no problem but power .

the volume up recognizes it as im wanting to volume up and power button both!!! HELP :(((( im so sad this device so expensive and so gentle it was not submerged only wet fingers!!! not even ever rain !!

Place the phone in a bowl with rice for couple of hours, if that doesn't solve the problem contact your Local support and request a vacuum test.

OMG MY FRIEND IT JUST STARTED WORKING WITH NO RICE!!!! I PLUG IT CHARGE AND LEFT NEXT TO COMPUTER FAN TO HOT THE BUTTONS AND THE POWER WORKS IT UNLOCKED !!!!! I STARTED REPEDLY LOCKING AND UNLOCKING FOR LIKE 15 SECONDS AND NOW WORKS!!!!

u dont know how worrid i was how this device called water proof if finger nirly broke button!! do i need special case for waterproof? but i will never go even on rain with xperia z3 its to gentl for so much cash paying

it is waterproof but keep in mind that chlorine and salt water will damage the seals and will eventually corrode them to the point it wont be waterproof.

but waterproof with no case? fingers nirly broke my fone becaus it was wet if i submerg it it will complete ruin it . im not risking ! this phone is best but to gentle!! im sorry for every one who spill drink on xperia z3 !

Oh!! my god it stops working again the power button !!! :((((( Its in rise!! but the screen is on!!! i cant turn it off!! i hope rice will fix problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i open all flap and put rice in bowl and close it! is it ok how am doing it!? how long stay xpeira z3 in rice?

that's exactly how to do it, remove the SIM and SD cards, leave it for 2-4 hours

it was in rice 6 hour and i took out and screen off i press power button and it work for few hours and den again started!!! can it be hardware!???? i not drop my fone and i took out sim and white marker was white and button sometimes work sometimes not (mostly not but sometimes after lot pressing it it works for 4-5 presses)

Hello i plug fone into computer and power on pc companion and update and press fix phone in blue writing it start doing some actions and then i agree to the google account and then press 2 times i agree to lose of data and then some donload start jn pc companion and then phone works properly the button. Lets hope this will be ok all time now.

Hello thank's for reply. I plug fone in computer i did not repair i wanted but after it went to installing some things to my pc i started working so i unplugged and it still working and i did not has tp repair and lose data i hope it will not brake again!!!!

I wonder what happened next, it seems like a faulty phone and maybe drops of water get into the phone through the switch button
