delayed charging through usb slot

I have both a usb cabe and the magnetic charging dock.

when I put the phone on the dock, the phone immediately starts to charge, with the LED lighting up and showing the lightning notification icon.

But most of the time when I plugin the phone using the USB cable, whether its from a computer or the official power adapter, there's a long delay (about 3 to 15 seconds) before the phone actually begins to charge.

Sometimes it charges immediately, but most of the time there is that long delay. I've tried using different USB cables, but that yields the same result.

I'm concerned about the life of my device. Is this a battery issue? How can I fix this?

Boot in safe mode and see if the same occurs.

Try using Sony PC Companion to repair the phone.

I forgot to mention that I had already done a factory reset.
