Hello everyone. I've updated my phone to the ( 23.4.A.1.200 ) build number, but I couldn't see any differences between it and the previous one. Does anybody have any idea about this new update? By the way my device is still vulnerable to stagefright.

I've forget to mention that that my Model number is D6502, and I've read that this update is only for D6503 models. I've updated my phone using PC companion. My question is does this may cause any harm to the phone since the update is for D6503 not for D6502?

I think one difference is that the phone uses less RAM in this update. This is one good point I think.

I've updated it yesterday but some apps are not working after i made the update like facebook but some apps are working fine
Any1 got this problem?!

Hello LostControl. On my phone all Apps are working fine. Facebook is working fine too. I think you may need to repair your phone using PC Companion. But remember all your apps and settings are going to be erased. Did you update your phone using PC Companion or you did it OTA?

hello

no i didnt update it using the pc companion it just told me theres a software update and i downloaded it it was around 220mb

and after the phone finished update and opened i tried to open facebook it says it stopped working

i tried to uninstall and install it again it did the same i restarted the phone the app loads the first screen and while it loading the app turns off

the other app that not working is the same too loads the first screen and while loading it closes

i`ve never had a problem with this phone since i got it and i have it for a year now first time to face a trouble like this

Hello LostControl. The best thing for you to do is to repair your phone with PC Companion, I think this would solve the problem. The update with PC Companion is ( 1.30 GB ). So in my opinion try the repair with PC companion. Would you please post what will happen with you if you did the repair. Anyone else who had this update and what differences are there- if there are any.

i dont want to do repair by pc companion my games process will be lost isnt there another option ?

Hello, am i the only one who is having big echo problem? Before when i put call on speaker it muted, i was worried about it and now when i did update yesterday im having big echo problem :(When im on call with somebody they are hearing so much echo of their voice. Please help me with it somebody!!!!

Why isn't there any information or clues on the official SONY website software updates? If you open the page you'll find this -

Android version: Android 5.1 (Lollipop)

Latest available software: 23.4.A.0.546

Release started: 2015-07-21 .......... - Nothing about 23.4.A.1.200 -- Any explanations for this ?

Hello Sonyz2yap. Try the different settings for Call and Sound & notification. If this doesn't solve your problem ,I think you need to repair your phone with PC Companion. But put in mind that all your Apps andeverything on your internal phone storage will be erased . Did update your phone by pc companion or OTA. Keep us updated.

Updated my Z2 yesterday and when I logged on for the first time I wrote a wrong number. If I did this before they update I just tried one more time but now I get this message :
