Xperia Z getting weird Wifi behaviour

So I've updated my Z to 5.1.1 and now (I think this problem started from whence I get 5.0) everytime I try to download something from a software provider app, the connection always end abruptly. Like with Google Play Store, If I try to download a large enough app (usually >100Mb in size), I'll have to turn the Wifi on and off throughout the download since the **bleep** phone will always stop halfway through, and if I just leave it there, the download will NEVER continue. I have to force a download resume by manually turn on or off the Wifi/Pause and then resume the download task.

This is really getting on my nerve because my roommate use an iPhone C and share the same Wifi connection with me and he never has this kind of problem. The weird thing is that this seems to happen with only store-like apps (like Play Store) and every download I make through Chrome and the likes never drop like this (like downloading manga through Mangarock, the process never need a Wifi restarting like the **bleep** Store).

If anyone know anything about this problem, please share it with me, I'll be eternally grateful.
