When I install WhatsApp on my Sony Xperia Z3+, l have a problem saving contacts into my Google account. I tried removing WhatsApp everything was fine. It seems there is a conflict or a bug between the latest version of whatsapp and the contact app in Xperia Z3+.

Could you elaborate on the issue, what happen when you add a whastaspp contact?

Contacts > menu > filter

Once I add WhatsApp to my mobile, I will not be able to add any contact to my Google account. One I add WhatsApp and try to add a contact I get the following message " your new contact will not be backed up. Add an account that backs up contact online". When I uninstall what's app an try to add a contact then it gives me the choice of saving contacts on my Google account.
