External Speaker Jack socket

I've tried several sets of headphones including Boss, and none of them work correctly if at all, same with the Xperia Z3 phone,

As I'm relatively new to Sony, I was wondering if Sony use there own jack plug for these devices.

Does anyone Know?

Yes they have a built in mic and speaker control

Ok that's probably the issue, the Z3 and Z4 series use a 3.5mm jack 5 pole

Ive just contacted support over this and they are about as much use, well they are are no use at all,,,, considering they are supposed to know the products is an understatement.

They wouldnt commit to the fact that the headphone socket could be different.

I asked about the SBH80 bluetooth set,,,, according to them its not compatable with the Z4, but I quote SBH70 maybe
