Has anybody else been able to add a Widget to the small apps? I just get a message that it has stopped. The pre

installed small apps and those downloaded from the Play Store work. It is just trying to add a Widget that causes the crash.

Please don't suggest a reinstall with pcc. Not going to do that as in the past had not solved my problems. I think it is a bug rather than a corrupt install.

Not installed anything that's would call exotic or small app driver related.

Is anybody else having issues is what I would like to know. Can people give it a try and report back?

Rebuilding after a 'repair' is too much like hard work. I will wait for an update and see if Sony have made it more reliable.

I don't think it's a third part app. It has done it right from the start. What it is is Sony small app utility not functioning as expected.

Let's leave it there. I would others who have the tablet to let me know if they have or don't have problems adding widgets, that is widgets, as a small app.

Thank you.

But why does that mean it is the 3rd party app? Why could it still not be your beloved Sony not implementing the software correctly such that a correct 3rd party apps has the negative effect? Sony do make mistakes and sometimes when told about them correct them.

As I am asking, let's have a straw pole, is any one else having problems? Do you have. Z4 and therfore able to try it?

You guys on the forum are always blaming others when it could well be a Sony error.
