Hey
Every time when I restart my xperia z2 some random old messages are resend. These messages don't show in the messaging app either so I have no way of knowing which messages were send and to who. I've checked with my provider but they couldn't fix it. It's really annoying because I constantly have to explain that I did not send any message.

It does not... They suggest there that the problem could be multiple sms apps but i only have 1, the one that came with the phone. I also have google hangouts but that is also an app that came with the phone, so it would surprise me if the problem has something to do with those 2 apps not working together.

@Phy

That helped this time, but do I have to repeat this procedure everytime I restart my phone, because that would be really inconvenient.

@alexdon
I've already visited my network provider and they told me that they changed something, basically the gave me a new sim. They told me that, if the problem stayed, there nothing was they could do.

I have no idea what can cause this actually. Try repairing the software in the phone and see if the problem persists after, it seems to be something wrong with it.

PC Companion..

Before repairing your device you may want to backup your information first. Check out this topic for more information on how to.
How to backup?

If the issue should still remain I think that this needs to be examined and fixed at a repair center.
