Hello,

Is it possible to know if my Xperia Z3 has any kind of manufacturing defect through its serial number?

In what way do you mean defect? Has there been a recall?

no, there has not a recall (at the moment), only to be sure that the device is totally correct. The fact is that I have purchased an Xperia Z3 in an online store (I have not received it yet) and it is quite unexpensive according to the market average and after I have found many bad opinions about this store. I am affraid about the possibility it were a default device.

Well when you get it - Give it a good inspection and check with Xperia care to see if it is or has been repaired via their service centres, You may also wish to seek a service centre yourself and have a vacuum test or pressure test carried out which checks that it's waterproof ability is still intact
