Could you explain further about soft to touch? If it means you hear a rattle when you tap on it,that is because of the camera lens, that are on the right part of the device.

How come the camera is on the left side? If you look at the device frontally,it is on the right side, but on the back. Isn't that where you have the rattle sound?

Think it's audio jack related and blank space under the glass. The motherboard is in the centre and gives solid hardness, the bottom and corners are filled with battery so they can't be pressed too. Mine is softer also and I can see the panel bends under strong touch more than others, but U need to decide how uncomfortable this is for U, If U think it bends too much it's better to get inspected with sony service centre.

So the panel is coming out, either on frame pressure or glue problem. That's the phone to be repaired by sony, if it pops out there should be a gap, so the water will come inside and damage the motherboard, as the glass panel is the only thing besides alu frame that protects the hardware. I wouldn't put that in water, without back panel and seal replaced first.
