Dear support team,

I bought my Z3 compact in Germany (Media Markt), and while on the airport waitung for my flight back home, I saw that one of the flaps that make the phone water- and dustproof had completely broken, I don't know how.
I wanted to know if this could actually be repaired and if it gets covered by the warranty.
You could also do it yourself if you chose to buy the port covers online on amazon or another site.

Hi Matt4, welcome to the community!

If you send the handset to an authorized repairer they should be able to ensure the water resistant nature of the device is maintained and bring it back to warranty condition for you however contact your local Sony Xperia Customer Care team to ensure this (you can click the link in my signature for contact details). If you repair it yourself please keep in mind this may void the warranty.
