Damaged back cover

I had a little accident with my z1. I left the phone with one of my friends and he was stupid eought to try to open the back cover from the top "second microphone". Now the back cover is shattered from the area.
How do I replace it ? Will the phone be still waterproof after replacing ?

Welcome to the community,

You would be best to contact Sony Mobile within your region, they would be able to supply more indepth information regarding the repair and any cost involved, they can also have a vacuum test done on the device after a repair.

Thank you for the information.
Unfortuantly, we dont have a sony service center here in sri lanka as we are a not so developed country. I bought the mobile from a local dealer. We dont have a good reputation in local mobile repair stores here. They use duplicate parts and sometimes even steal original parts from the mobile.
Is there any chance to get my mobile repaired from a sony service ceter ? So that I dont have to worry about quality of the materials and services.
