Call going to bluetooth volume even when bluetooth switched off..

More often than not during incoming or outgoing call the call gets routed through bluetooth even though bluetooth is switched off.This results is call disruptions thereby the other party can't here what i'm saying...This is a new problem that has cropped up off late...using kitkat version...I earlier used to have a problem with proximity sensor not working, which got solved after a factory reset. I now don't have d time to conduct another reset...Help please
P.s-Solutions other than factory reset or updation to lollipop..

I'd give it a try with smart connect,go in settings-apps-all and clear data.

Hey if i put it to speaker phone and switch back to call mode..then the bluetooth mode automatically stops..
