headphone jack stoppés working.

I am disgruntled.After less than 3 monts my headphone jack stopped working out of the blue.Sony help Guy says it's a repair in this case. I say my iPhone 4 headphone jack never broke in 5 Years of daily use so repair center not going to cut it. Only a new phone will do and I' m willing to go to court for it. Waiting for manager call back. Is there anywhere in Montreal I can go in person? I should have shopped better, not impressed Sony. I might go back to Apple for hardware quality.

That is the normal procedure, yes

It will have to cut it. It's the only way to fix this issue.

I see you have helped a lot of people here and that is a good thing, thank you for your time. But your reply didnt really help.

I love Android and although I was on ios before, I am not a blind Apple fan boy.And obviously, not a Sony fan boy either. This said, regarding this reply:

Do you mean by this that Apple stopped making quality hardware since?

If I would have bought an Iphone 6, I could have walked in an Apple store a few minutes away from my home and get the service i deserve. Instantly instead of dealing with a call center thousands of miles away.

People have won when the company being brought to court have failed in their duties to provide adequate warranty service, in this instance, Sony have offered to repair the device as per their legal obligation.
The repair offered is a standard and accepted resolution to the issue of a serviceable part becoming detached or faulty.
As sony have stuck well within their obligation, a request to a court for a whole new unit will be rejected because sony have followed and stuck to the requirement of them to provide a free repair on the connection port as it has become faulty.

But also as I said, it's understandable you feel the remorse from your purchase.
