I have a Z3 on 3 network in the UK. I regularly have 4 signal bars on the phone but no mobile data. I search for networks and 2g 3g and 4g 3 network is available I choose one and it either takes a long time 'registering on the network' which is not always successful and tells me to try again later. Alternatively I get 'unable to connect to network try again later' and all the bars then disappear and I am left with a red cross above the greyed out signal bars. restarting the phone sometimes gives me signal and mobile data but should I have to be doing that several times a day? This occurs in many locations both indoors and outside. I have contacted 3 but they are amazingly unhelpful.

Thanks in advance

Signal strength fluctuates, that's normal, but your network coverage it's not ideal (poor network coverage)
