Xperia Z3 Compact - Bluetooth Smart

Hello everybody,

I recently acquired a Polar H7 Heart Rate Monitor which unfortunately I cannot connect to my Xperi Z3 compact. From what I read, the Polar H7 requires the phones to support an optional Bluetooth 4.0 extention called Bluetooth Smart - does the Xperia Z3 compact support this at all?
