So much lag on games =S

Only just got my xperia z3+ today after waiting ages to buy it and honestly so far i am majorly dissapointed from boot up into a game there is lag already =S my galaxy s4 doesnt even lag on these games T_T

all games? any antivirus? report the game lag and/or issues with the game developers, it could be a compatibility issue.

You know that this is not up to sony,right? The developer of that game has to assure that a game is compatible with new devices.

so far only tested final fantasy record keeper and hearthstone but honestly both are some of the least demanding games =( tempted to get a refund at the minute because for a flagship phone this really isnt what should be expected

I'm even experiencing lag in the ui as well though it's just far more noticable in games

If the device is brand new,I suggest you wait some more,the experience will get better after 1-2 weeks on the device.

I still think it's a compatibility issue with those games. this is what I would do, reinstall the latest update its a great idea, why? it will smooth things out, then uninstall any antivirus or taskiller or intrusive app, then try again.

That's the problem though i dont want to wait a couple of weeks to "see" if it gets better in case i cant return a product which isn't up to the tax of majority of android phones =/ bit of a shame really because i moved to Sony having heard they are the best android device when major updates hit after all my god my galaxy s4 literally was unusable after every major update T_T

Performing a software repair using PC Companion.The process will erase all internal memory.You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 80% battery.

Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).

Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

Your phone is probably downloading all the apps and updates, did you opt out on downloading all the apps? did you followed my suggestion?

Boot on safe mode and report back if you experience any lag
