Xperia t3 camera is unavailable

Hello I just purchased a Sony Xperia t3 three weeks ago and it has been working just fine until I recently updated the album and whats new applications on the phone that was a few days back and ever since the camera doesn't work it just outputs a message whenever I tap on the camera icon which says the camera is unavailable I have tried restoring the phone, running it on safe mode and even deleted third party apps and removed the sd memory card but still the camera is not working please help me out here!!!

Settings > apps > all > camera > clear data > restart your phone > check again

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

If the information supplied does not help resolve the issue you could attempt a software repair on the handset. Please see the instructions below.

1. Download the PC Companion software from PC Companion and install it on your PC.

2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.

3. Phone Software Update.

4. Start.

5. Repair Phone

6. Continue

7. Accept data removal

8. Next

9. Wait for prepare

10. Select Phone

11. Follow the connection steps

hello again i did the repair and update with the pc companion twice but the camera still wont come on and it still outputs the message "unfortunately the camera has stopped" could this mean the camera is dead? or is this a software issue?

kurt cobain was the MAN!! hi again... so i tried that too but still the camera wont come on its still shows the same message instead!... only had this phone for three weeks man....

Well it seems nothing works camera still won't work and I stay in uganda there is no reliable Sony service centre here
