Sony Xperia Z3 Compact D5833 Battery Issues - Cell standby

I recently purchased the Z3C 3 weeks ago online and got it imported from Hong Kong (with warranty of course). The main culprit is cell standby which is taking up 31%. (Yes, there are many threads about this although it would be easier if I made a new one to my specific situation) During the day while I'm at work I only send a few texts, check my emails and check the time and it drops about 10-15%. I'm always very battery conscious since I've had many battery issues with phones in the past. I always have stamina mode on, brightness 30% or less, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, location, NFC, auto-synced data and LTE off and it only lasts me about 4-5 hours of screen time. I am really concerned as the battery is the main reason I purchased this phone plus I've seen many reviews and it says the battery is very good. I would appreciate heaps if anyone could help, thanks.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

The screenshot you posted doesn't really show any large battery drain so it's hard to say what could be wrong when you notice a higher battery usage. This menu shows statistics since the last charge, not current usage.

The screenshot shows that your phone has been on battery for 12h and that has used 11% of the phones battery. Of that 11%, communication with the mobile network has used 31% which means that Cell standby has used about 3.4% of the battery in 12h. Depending on your usage and the network in your area this may be normal.

If you notice that the phone starts to drain battery, could you take new screenshots from this menu and also tap the items that has used alot of battery and the graph at the top and take screenshots there? To get good statistics it's best to wait until the battery level is lower.

I hardly put my phone through a hard day, I hardly use my phone at all while at work which is why I'm concerned. My iPhone 4 would only drop 5% while my Z3C drops 10% or more. What I really want to ask is if there's anyway to fix the cell stanby issue. Even doing tasks that don't require the cell radio cause the battery to drop quickly. Also in comparison to my old iPhone 4 my Z3C's battery is worse, which is unsettling. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could find a solution to this problem or if there is an app anyone could recommend. Thanks

Could you post screenshot of the battery after "hard day"? I had iPhone4 in the past and both Z1 and Z1C beat it with ease. Z3 should do it even better.

Hello guys.. Can you please help me out solve my battery problem on z3 compact which drains so fast, it hardly lasts a day.. I bought mine here in italy in an online shop.. I bought this phone because i was so jealous of the reviews other people made saying that this phone has a great battery life but sadly I am a little bit disappointed of this because of this problem.. It hardly lasts a day even in a normal usage.. I already disable google+ and other apps which are battery eater.. Please help me out solve this guys.. Thanks a lot..

The issue is that my battery drains so fast and i dont know exactly what drains it that fast, it hardly lasts a day contrary to what the company was saying that battery would lasts for 2 days..
