My guess is that it is going to be a small update, possibly only BLE fix. But i will be happy if i'm wrong and Sony suprises us with some other goodies. KK is sure not one of them sadly.

I wish they atleast fixed the stuttering in walkman. App 2 SD would be nice, but i highly doubt it.

I wish they have enabled the feature to move applications to external memory card.

When can we start recieving updates?

I guess it should take about 1-2 weeks.

I doubt there will be anything new.

Looking at the build number, from 15.4.A.1.9 to 15.4.A.1.10 all we can expect is some very small bug fixes. That's all. Sorry.

Yes, you can check the PTCRB's link above.

This update very likely fixes something called a BLE bug along with (I hope to God) Apps-to-SD.

Is Sony able to provide a change log for the 11-SEP-2014 Xperia M update?

We're all in general agreement there will be a BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) fix, but is that all?

Zeke, it's just rumors about ble, nobody know what will be in this update Need ask Sony about this update... they making updates, not users from here which posting rumors

@euphorics: I have been using Xperia M since October last year and there is no problem with my phone, no bugs that I noticed in past 3 months, after updating to 4.3 (except for that BLE). It is running smoothly. No problem with memory management, no battery drain, no faulty gps program - nothing.

Sony has the best UI of all the Android devices, even better than HTC.

Motorola, Micromax and other companies like them uses stock Android. Samsung's UI comes no where near Sony.

Other than software update, I don't know what your problem with Sony is.

I request sony to add atleast these features in next update....
1. Should move apps to SD card or install apps to SD card.
2. Before the 1st update, when we locked the device the screen. gone off in a super TV switching off style. Please get it back.
3. Provide us 4.4 Kitkat.
4. Let the status bar be more customisable.
5. Provide us a way to uninstall built in apps than disabling it.

Guys...Those who agree with my suggestions comment at me and let us discuss what we are expecting.
COMMENT YOUR IDEAS ALSO AND LET SONY AUTHORITY'S KNOW WHAT THERE CLIENTS LOOKING FOR..

Guys if you r telling right then I will post complaints on sony everywere.

WHY DON'T THEY ATLEAST REPLY WHY THEY DO LIKE THIS.
REALLY SHAME AS AN INTERNATIONAL BRAND IS DOING LIKE THIS..

I will wait for next update and if it can't reach our expectations then definitely I will root my device.

Ankitv04, you the only which don't have... Many others have problems with gps, battery fast drains and ect... If u using yr phone just sometime for sms, call and ect... u did see all bugs... I'm using stamina mode, but with every touch battery percent going down and down... It doesn't matter how long i charging phone, what i'm doing (using internet or just check weather, time and ect)... So one user which saying didn't not have problems with bugs - is not all users Read in this forum what writing others users... probably u are the only who don't have problem with mentioned bugs...

Guys, forget it. They will just provide some software fixing with this minor update. Forget about that, I fear that after the update, we will be left at same condition. It's the least they feel they should do to shut us down before the end of line and get done with it.

sony launched e3
and I decided to stay away from Sony mid range phone coz they terminate the support in the software update period for mid range phone
after sell services for mid range phone from Sony is pathetic
if u wanna feel best of sony then only buy flagship phones
say now to low range and mid range
