Touch not working while call

My Xperia Sp 's touch stop working in strange manner while a call is connected .
If I call someone and use earphones then suppose I press the home button it works then I go to menu it works, then settings it works but here if try to go further like display or storage the touch stops working. Another example like WhatsApp...I can open WhatsApp but I touch any particular contact name to open the messages it doesn’t work. The same thing happens with all applications.

I have got my software reinstalled from the service centre but still facing the same problem.

i bought this xperia sp a few weeks back...../. while phone is kept on flat surface the touch stops responding..until the phone is picked up again.... I have read many posts for issue as it is quite common but didnt find a solution in any..... some say its software issue wait for update,,,, some say get your cell checked at service centre... can anyone please help me in this i called sony technical support they said restore to factory setting nd then check...

What is your current firmware? 4.3JB or 4.1.2JB?
The problem you stated was faced by everyone in 4.1.2 JB firmware.And it was solved once it was updated to 4.3JB .

So,my advice is to hook up your phone to your PC and update it using Sony PC Companion.

Latest firmwate is 12.1.A.1.205 and it solves almost all problems faced in 4.1.2 JB

Its jb4.3. & .201.... Will .205 solve the issue??

Yes,absolutely.Try it out.
