You cannot,this is not available in xperias by default.You have the notification light.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Just like alexdon said, this is not available as default. Some apps have this function inbuilt, but I've also seen third party applications via Google Play that have the function to light up the screen when you receive a notification.
