From pictures of the Elm, I can see the fast port connector on the side of the phone, so the phone will plug into the cradle on its side--my W995 has its fast port connector on the upper side, similarly to the Elm, and it works well when plugged into the cradle.

Yes it's on the same side as my W995, and as I said before, it plugs into the cradle and works fine. The cradle also has a pull-up stand to give the phone more stability, whether the phone plugs into it vertically or horizontally. As a general rule, any SE accessory with a fast port connector plug can be used with any SE phone that has a fast port socket, irrespective of whether it specifically mentions your phone model or not.

These products are fine, but as I understand it, you wanted to be connected to the computer via USB cable and at the same time listen to music through your headphones. Since your phone only has one fast port socket, you would only be able to use one of these cables at a time, not both together, which you can do with the cradle I suggested.

Just wanted to add that you would need the USB cable anyway to use either directly with the phone or with the cradle+phone. You can also use the fast-port to 3.5 mm headphone adapter either directly with the phone or with the cradle+phone. So it might be a good idea to have all three accessories anyway.
