Xperia SP won't start up - double red blinking light

Hi,

My wife's Xperia SP won't charge or start up, pressing the power button gives a quick double red-blinking light.

I've pressed the reset button - nothing happens, and tried everything with SIM and SD card removed - again, nothing happens.

Not sure how this happened, she was at work when it went wrong, so she can't have been doing much with it.

It's now sitting charging, though nothings is apparently happening.

I also have an SP, so I have checked that the charger does actually charge this phone.

Any ideas how I can fix this?

Try a different wall charger then

press and hold Power & volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge for 2-3 hours
