Hello Rickard, I've got the same problem, I am unable to connect to my company's exchange e-mail

My steps are:
1. Open e-mail app.
2. Click on "add account".
3. Type e-mail account and correct password (confirmed many times it is fine)
4. Click "next" results with the following error message: "incorrect username, password or client's certificate"
5. Back and click "manual configuration".
6. Select "Exchange ActiveSync" when asked what type of e-mail account it is.
7. Type domain\username, password and server exchange.
8. Port "443" is selected automatically
9. Trying to tick and untick different checkboxes of SSL.
10 no matter what SSL options I will choose I am always getting error message: "incorrect username, password or client's certificate".

Please help.

Exchange push mail problem

I buyed a sony xperia z2 mobile phone, when I setup my exchange push mail in it, I got problem, I can't connect my company's mail server. so I did some reserch about this issue, the answer like below:

The version of Exchange ActiveSync in Xperia Z2 is 12.0

The version of Exchange ActiveSync in Iphone 5s is 12.1

The version of Exchange ActiveSync in Samsun s5 is 14.0

I found a technical document from internet, below is the link:

I find that Exchange ActiveSync 12.0 can't connect very well to exchange server 2007 sp1 and above.

so this is the root cause why sony's mobile phone has problem to connect exchange server.

I don't know why sony's developer. so now I have to change back to use my Iphone 5s.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Xperia Z2 support Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync protocol version 2.5/12/12.1/14/14.1. Which of these versions that is used depends on what server you have and the settings in the server.

Could you describe the problem a bit more detailed and what happens? Have you tried over both WiFi and mobile network?

Hi and welcome to the community!

This means that you are not allowed to login using the details you have entered. First make sure that you are entering correct details. The username if often not the email address but the username you use to logon your work PC.

If you are not able to logon with the correct details you need to contact your IT-department to check why you are not allowed to logon.
