Hi.. I hope somebody could enlighten me on this.

I put my phone on the table and felt it vibrated, it was only after a while that I noticed that it turned off by itself.

I tried turning it on but it just wont. I tried charging, the green light was on but it still wont turn on.

I brought it to the repair center and they said that the problem is the battery. They asked me if i am overcharging my phone and i said no., then they said that i might be leaving the mobile data on so its affecting the battery life. They are finally replacing my battery for a fee.

Could this be possible? My phone is less than 7 months. Could the mobile data left on affect the battery which can eventually burn it out?

Thanks for all the help. Im not really knowledgable on things like this.

No,but the mobile data where you have bad coverage could really overheat the device.
