Hi,

I've had my phone for a a few days now and it's been connected to my home wifi with no issues whatsoever for the first few days, but as of last night it will not connect at all.

In Wifi settings, I can see my home network and it shows as Saved, secured with WPA/WPA2.

When I try to connect to it, it is showing 'Authenticating' but then does not connect.

All my other devices, PC etc are connecting to the network without any issues so I know it's not a problem at the wifi end.

Can anyone help me understand what I should do on the phone to try and get this working again please?

You could try to forget the network and add it again. Also, take a look here:

Hi

I have the same issue as Jimbob74 has. I'm trying to connect the Z2 at the network created by a GoPro camera. I can see the network, I can enter the password, then the network is saved. when I try to connect the network goes to authentication but at th end does not connect. I canceled the network and tried to connect again several time without success.

I have a tablet and another phone and works perfect with both of them.

Do you have any suggestion?

Thanks
This phone is driving me crazy now. Had it a month and it's been nothing but problems. The WiFi problem is the worst though, either won't connect to my home WiFi or does connect but nothing actually works. Only thing I can do is reboot the phone, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. I'll be getting rid of this garbage as soon as I can.

After hair pulling frustration, I solved my 'Authentication Problem' when trying to connect to my Wi Fi. When the wifi page is open, WiFI is urned on, click on the 3 vertical dots in the top right hand corner, then click on 'advanced'. Look for WPS push button. You must then walk to your router and push the button with that symbol. This is not a perfect solution, and as near as I can figure you will have to do this every time you wish to connect, but at least it works!
