Lifelog 2.0.A.0.12 released

A new Lifelog update has now been released. (2.0.A.0.12).

Major changes:

• Activity recognition with transportation & bicycle – for Xperia only

• Change activity type - for Xperia only

• Delete single activity

• Male and Female avatar

• Customize (show/hide) activity boxes in dashboard

I just updated the apps lifelog and one of the feature in the new update is 'Change activity type - for Xperia only', does this means we can arrange different apps into different activity tiles? if it is then how do you adjust in the app?

It wasn't worth creating a new thread, so I am going to "hijack," this a little...

I think that just means you can add and remove the tabs at the bottom... I think.

In regard to the new update... I think it is pretty **bleep** cool (sarcasm) that the most wanted (and advertised) features only work with Xperia smartphones... leaving the rest of us out in the **bleep** cold. That is so highly awesome, I don't even know what to think (sarcasm).

I would not use Lifelog if it wasn't for the Smartband that I bought. Clearly, I made a mistake.. pie on my face.

Thanks for NOT being the company who wants all users to experience your devices fully. I will be ending my relationship with this band and your company. Good looking out bros.

While that may seem extreme, it is the result of godawful tech companies and their insistence that people only use their products. This industry wide thinking needs to end, sooner rather than later.

Lifelog Update in Other Devices

Hello, i use smartband with a HTC One. But in last uptade to Lifelog, there is feature "transportation & bicycle - for xperia only" it means i can't get that features to my One?

I have some suggestions:

1. On 21'st I have been raiding a bike - the information about the rout was good. Now the possition is taken every 5 minutes ?

2. There should be possibility to see when I was running / cycling (now olny black rout for everything)

3. ANT+ support for the cycling / heart rate

I have compared the preformance of the new update and my gps watch when riding and I am impressed with the accuracy of the activity duration. I understand I wont get the same trace as I do with the GPS but not having to manually start an activity to capture time spent doing these things is great.

Since my complaint is to do with the update I will post my feedback here.

This new update is causing a massive battery drain. Stamina mode reports that Lifelog is preventing the phone from going to sleep and Wakelock Detector is showing huge battery drain coming from "software-physical-logger."

The update looks great.

But one thing:

Bicycle and transportation is Xperia only. What is the reason for this? I do hope its technical reasons, but i suspect its not.
Please unlock these features for everyone. To limit these great features to xperia only is just stupid.

I use the new Lifelog 2.0.A.0.12 with my Xperia Z and i can report that the battery drains much faster now. Battery usage on the old version was around 15 % on average but now it is 50 %.

There is a mistake about lifelog App; daily target organize dosent work . I choose daily target organize but lifelog app dosent save pls you look attach ( pictures)

only work : sleep and step daily target organize.

I use sony smartband swr10

I think the problems accure after yesterday update

So I have "fixed" the battery drain issue. Open Lifelog, go to the menu, select settings and switch off "Logger". Battery drain gone and I am still getting my life tracked. When I get home we will see how sleeping is tracked.

I have updated my lifelog apps to the latest version and this new version uses a lot of power consumption even more than screen and it drop my battery life.Need your team to check on this. However the new features is awesome..

Ignore my previous post. Seems like the wrist device will only record so much. That logger option is needed for recording :/. Sony please update the app quickly to resolve this battery drain...

Terget and the other one dosent work . Pls can you open calory section..? You should write calory target but lifelog dosent save it . Only work step, book, pictures target . The other one doesnt work after new upgrade .
